Lucy Mikell, NP

​

Lucy was born and raised in Summit, MS. She enjoys spending her days with her family and being a wife and mother to her three children. 

 

Lucy began her career in nursing at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson where she worked medical-surgery and then eventually moved back to her hometown at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center for eight years in labor and delivery. 

 

She loves caring and advocating for her patients health and wanted to pursue advancement in her career; therefore, in 2018 she graduated from The University of South Alabama with a Masters of Science in Nursing to became a Nurse Practitioner. 

 

Lucy has gone on to work in many areas as a Practitioner severing her community. It is her passion and responsibility to help those affected and suffering in her community. And also, her goal to provide quality care and improve patient care in chronic diseases management.
